We are now about three months away from arriving in Chicago for yet another great time at the healthcare staffing summit. Three months may seem like a long time but it will come faster than you think and its time to start preparing if you haven’t already.
What is the Healthcare Staffing Summit?
The Healthcare Staffing Summit is an annual event held in a different city every year. Last year we spent time at the Aria hotel in fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada. This year we will be in the windy city, Chicago, IL! This event brings together CEOs, owners and top level execs to share insights, strategies and draw interest to healthcare staffing industry. Topics include travel nursing, per diem nursing, locum tenens, allied medical, finance and general operations techniques for your organization.

Who typically attends?
There is a wide range of the type of attendees. A majority of attendees are CEOs and owners, but the largest group are company VPs and above.

How do I begin the process of attending?
Start off by Registering! However, if you are still on the fence on whether or not you should attend (This really shouldn’t be a question), then you can attend the online webinar being hosted by the Staffing Industry Analysts on September 17. Staffing Industry Analysts own Sr VP of Marketing and Interactive Services, Hinda Chalew, will lead the webinar. This will be a great opportunity for you to get a taste of the Staffing Summit and will last approximately 30 minutes.
I’ve registered, now what?
Make sure you have booked your registrations at the Fairmont Hotel. Once travel arrangements have been made start thinking about your booth preparations or if you are a newbie just coming to check it out, start preparing yourself and the staff attending with you for one of the best events you could attend this year! You will be given a lot of information throughout a course of 3-days and you will also be able to network. This is a chance for you to learn from the best in the business – take full advantage of the opportunity being presented.
Learn from the past
We had a wonderful time in Las Vegas last year and are looking forward to seeing what Chicago has to offer for us this year. We are also excited to see familiar faces as well as new faces so be sure to come find us!

Round Table Discussions: This was a top highlight of our time at the Summit. As a part of the round table discussion that we took part in we offered “Six easy steps to becoming a vendor management system”. Is it really that easy, only 6 steps? Well, see for yourself!
What did we take away from the Summit? Attending this event is a highlight for our organization and we know the information provided is best for us to grow and serve our clients better. We also made connections with new faces and connected with familiar faces.
Do’s and Don’ts: Whether you are a rookie or a veteran, you can never have too much information to help get the most out of your experience. This may not be our first appearance at the summit but we can still learn from the past and learn from others’ experiences on how to get the most out of our time. Afterall this is a company investment, you don’t want to miss anything!
